YFC leases part of Snyder building to Fountain of Faith

By NANCY WHITAKER

Progress Staff Writer

PAULDING — It was announced Nov. 3, 2011, at the YFC banquet that the Defiance Area Youth for Christ had received a generous donation. The donation was a 10,000 square foot building and was from Dr. Donald and Myrna Snyder of Payne.

Dr. Snyder, who retired from his medical practice in 2004, said that he and his family had always supported the Youth for Christ program in Paulding County. He said that it was their desire that the building be used by Youth for Christ for the ministering of kids.

The former medical building, which has been empty for almost five years, houses at least 30 rooms, offices, a full basement and an ample- sized parking lot.

Youth for Christ has a committee that worked together to make the decision on how to best use the building. The desire was to benefit Youth for Christ and the community.
