The Paulding County Hospital board met on May 3 and reported that they had held a Volunteer Recognition Brunch on April 16 at the John Paulding Historical Society. There were over 45 volunteers in attendance and they were recognized for their generous donation of time. A “Business After Hours” event was held on April 19. This event, sponsored by the hospital, was held by the Paulding Chamber of Commerce at the Paulding Eagles and about 25 local people attended. On April 18,  the hospital was involved with a regional disaster drill to simulate a tornado strike which involved evacuation of the hospital.
