County baseball teams exit sectional play

All three Paulding County high school baseball teams saw their tournament runs come to an end on Saturday as Antwerp, Paulding and Wayne Trace each suffered losses.

In Division III at Archbold, Evergreen scored five runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to pull away for a 10-0 victory over Paulding.

Javier Gonzales took the loss for the Panthers, allowing five hits, eight walks and seven runs in three plus innings of work. Treston Gonzales finished the contest on the mound for the maroon and white.
