Rosselets shared cancer battle simultaneously

Paulding resident Sandy Rosselet was petrified in November of 2006 when she learned that her husband, Jim, had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Rosselet admitted that her idea of cancer had always been that of a “dark cloud” filled with little hope.

“I was scared to death,” said Rosselet of the news that her husband had cancer. “I was raised on a farm and we had a lot of cancer and diabetes in our family. To me, cancer was the end. In my parents’ families, between diabetes and cancer, they lost their battles early. My mom was only 57 when she died because of diabetes.
