| Fair's livestock auction tops $200,000 |

By DENISE GEBERS Staff Writer PAULDING – What has been deemed by some as the most outstanding Paulding County Fair in ages has come to a close. Attendance was up and supporters of the junior fair livestock auction set an all-time record. “I was thrilled with the fair,” said Ellie Townley, president of the Paulding County Fair Board. “It was wonderful! “It was great to have the bands back on the fairgrounds, we had stellar entertainment; it was cool. I loved it! I loved it! I can’t thank the sponsors enough,” she concluded. Fair-goers up and down the midway agreed. Comments were heard from those expressing gratitude to the sponsors who made it possible for free gate entry and rides and still others about the improved looks of the fairgrounds.
