A statement Monday afternoon from Paulding-Putnam Electric Cooperative CEO Goerge Carter: "We just got transmission service to Fort Brown, Continental and Roselm substations. Each of these will then have between 50% and 75% of the members back in service. AEP has informed us that Kalida should be repaired later this afternoon. Right now we have restored most service to Cecil area; Antwerp area; and virtually all of our Indiana territory. "We are waiting for transmission service to the following areas: Latty, Convoy, Van Wert, Columbus Grove, Miller City and Ottoville. We are still looking at several days before service will be restored. Currently, we are estimating about 50% of the members are back in service. "We have all employees working and have several line crews from Michigan as well as a crew from Northwestern Electric Cooperative in Bryan." Carter estimated PPEC will make an update available sometime Tuesday morning as they were making some progress Monday. To read the rest of this article please subscribe or sign in |
