Time for annual 'Day In the Park'

ANTWERP – Don’t miss the 13th Annual Day In the Park on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Riverside Park in Antwerp on East River Street will be filled with activities of all kinds: Wheels in the Park cruise-in, craft vendors, food vendors, information tents, 50/50 drawing, Little Maumee Express train ride for kids, Mark’s Ark and his traveling mini-zoo and more games.

The day will begin with a parade at 10 a.m. and will conclude with a flag disposal ceremony at 4:15 in the afternoon. There will be something for everyone.

The Antwerp Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 50/50 drawing as well as prizes given to three winners in the Umbrella Parade. Entrants, decorate your umbrella and bring it to the competition. There will also be a Pass the Hula Hoop Contest with prizes to the winning team.
