PAULDING – At Monday’s regular Paulding Village Council meeting, Council President Roger Sierer provided an information packet for Phase 1 of the combined sewer separation project. Currently the village is waiting for a permit to install. Once the permit to install is obtained, the village will advertise for bids and hopes are to have bids submitted, opened and awarded by December or January.

The village has received a revised engineer’s estimate of $3,865,984 for Phase 1, which is an increase of $180,148.

Sierer reminded council that Phase 1 is the largest part of the sewer separation project and once things get started, there may be three crews working in different locations in the village.
