A local investigation of a former Wayne Trace teacher has been reviewed by the county prosecutor’s office and last week a decision was reached.

No criminal charges were filed against Rachel Parrett.

Information received by the Paulding County Progress through a public records request to the Paulding County Sheriff’s office revealed law enforcement personnel began an over two-month long investigation on June 7. At that time they were being notified by Wayne Trace Local School District officials of possible inappropriate behavior between a female teacher and a female student.
