Should the county emergency management agency office duties be a separate office?
Husted addresses local Republicans

PAULDING – Paulding County Republicans met for their annual fall banquet Sept. 20 with Ohio’s secretary of state as keynote speaker and “Abraham Lincoln” as the main speaker.

Secretary of State Jon Husted told the group, gathered in the OSU Extension building, that the state’s election system is ready for the coming Nov. 6 General Election.

Husted is a former state legislator from Montpelier who has been secretary of state since last January 2011. He has been at the center of attention due to his directive to Ohio’s county boards of elections to eliminate some voting hours during the early voting period which begins on Oct. 2.
