By KEVIN WANNEMACHER Sportswriter WAUSEON – For the second straight season, the Wayne Trace boys golf team claimed the Green Meadows Conference championship after winning the league tournament at Ironwood Golf Course last Wednesday. The Raiders shot a 335 to get past second place Tinora’s round of 347 for the title. Ayersville took third on the fifth man tiebreaker over Antwerp as each school carded a 367. Hicksville was fifth at 371 followed by Fairview (375), Holgate (399) and Edgerton (421). Holgate’s Landon Grim took tournament medalist honors and earned Boys Golfer of the Year with a 78 on the day. Wayne Trace’s Grady Gudakunst, Derek Langmeyer and Corbin Linder all picked up first team all-GMC honors by shooting rounds of 80, 82 and 85, respectively. The other two first team all-conference award winners were Ayersville’s Matt Engel (85) and Tinora’s Conner Behringer (86).
