Meet the Candidate Night deemed big success

By NANCY WHITAKER

Progress Staff Writer

PAULDING – The Paulding County Progress sponsored a “Meet the Candidates Night” last Thursday evening at the Paulding County Senior Center.

All candidates attended except Eric Eberle, candidate for congress, who had other commitments.

The moderator for the evening was Doug Nutter, publisher of the Paulding County Progress. He welcomed the guests and presented the rules to the candidates. The first speaker who took the podium was Lisa Recker, who spoke in behalf of the county-wide DD levy.

The other levy on the ballot was a renewal levy for Vantage with Staci Kaufmann speaking for the levy.
