PAULDING – A press conference was held last Wednesday, Nov. 7 by the Paulding Chamber of Commerce announcing the name of a new park, the Herb Monroe Community Park, honoring the longtime community leader who passed away one year ago.

The park will be built at the corner of Main and Jackson streets, at the site of the old Certified gas station. The press conference coincided with demolition of the structure by Kauser Trucking that morning.
