ANTWERP – In action Nov. 15, the Antwerp Local School District Board of Education hired Patricia Ross to be the district’s new superintendent.

Ross is currently superintendent at Paulding Exempted Village Schools. She is scheduled to retire from that position at the end of the current contract year.

The board approved a contract with Ross as interim superintendent on a per diem basis for the period of Nov. 15, 2012, to Dec. 31, 2012.

They also approved a bridge term contract with Ross as superintendent for the period of Jan. 1-July 31, 2013, and also a one-year contract as superintendent for the period of Aug. 1, 2013, through July 31, 2014.
