Girls basketball –

Paulding Lady Panthers dropped a 54-35 loss to conference foe Allen East at home on Thursday night. The Panthers fell behind 17-9 at the end of the first quarter and then climbed back into the game, 28-22, at the half. However, Paulding was only able to post 13 points in the second half. Sierra McCullough scored 13 points for Paulding and Abby Pease added 10.

 

 

Sports Roundup Tuesday, Dec. 11

Girls basketball-

Wayne Trace moved to 2-4 on the season with a 54-40 win over county rival Paulding in non-league girls basketball action at the ‘Palace’ Tuesday night.

Krystal Wannemacher scored 17 points to lead the red, white and blue with Tanya Sinn chipping in a dozen markers. Erin Mohr added eight points and a dozen rebounds for the Raiders.

Brooke Combs scored 16 points for Paulding, which drops to 2-3. Sierra McCullough chipped in eight for the Panthers.

 

Wrestling –

The Wayne Trace varsity wrestling team defeated the Antwerp Archers last night by a score of 84-0. The Raiders then defeated the Fairview Apaches by a score of 65-9.
