|Cancer was transformative experience for Harrow|

PAULDING – Outgoing Sheriff David Harrow is still filled with emotion when he refers to the transforming experience of cancer and a return to his faith roots that occurred midway through his career with local law enforcement.
Harrow was at the Cleveland Clinic with his life in jeopardy when he reached out to God for help in his very difficult circumstances.
“That was such a transformation to me; I will never forget it,” said Harrow at a retirement gathering on Saturday. “I was raised in religiosity in parochial schools. Then I got away from it all.
