It’s hard to believe that at one time Lance Foor didn’t even like playing basketball. Now, the 6-foot-3 forward at Paulding High School is one of the team leaders. In a recent game against county foe Antwerp, the confident shooter scored 11 points while connecting on two deep 3-pointers from the corner.

“I started playing when I was in the fourth grade, but I didn’t like it that much. My friends were playing and so I just joined in and started playing. I really liked football better but basketball became my number one sport in middle school,” said Foor.
