Paulding County agriculture extension agent Jim Lopshire said recently that last Wednesday's snowstorm is a good start to initiating agriculture benefits for area fields toward next spring’s crop.
“One of the major benefits is moisture,” said Lopshire. “Virtually no moisture fell on county fields during November and less than two inches fell in December, compared to over three and a half inches last December.”
