PAULDING – Jason Landers was sworn in as the next Sheriff of Paulding County on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. in the Common Pleas Court by Common Pleas Judge Tiffany Beckman. Landers will officially take office at midnight on Jan. 7.

Several other county officials and family members were present for the swearing in ceremony.

Paulding County Prosecutor Joe Burkard attended the event and commented, “It is important to have someone who has the willingness and experience to serve our county. Jason has great leadership skills to carry on. We are very fortunate to have him as our next sheriff.”
