By KEVIN WANNEMACHER Sportswriter MILLER CITY – Wayne Trace picked up its best win of the season in non-league play at Miller City as the Raiders rolled to a 72-53 victory over the Wildcats in boys basketball action. The win moved the Raiders to 4-1 on the season but, more importantly, gave them a huge win over a good team on the road. The victory was big in more ways than one for Wayne Trace and head coach Jim Linder was extremely pleased with the outcome. “We came over here knowing they are a very good basketball team and that we had to play well,” commented Linder after the contest. “This is a big win for us, especially on the road. We were able to face some adversity early on and we battled back and were able to extend the lead in the second half. It was a great effort by the entire team and was great to see.”
