Boys basketball

Paulding jumped into a 36-23 halftime lead only to watch it dwindle away as Liberty Center tied the Panthers, 59-59, at the end of regulation play. But Kyle Kauser drained two treys in overtime play to resurrect the local squad back to a 70-65 win. Lance Foor led the Paulding attack with 25 points while Kauser finished with 18 points.

Paulding's record now stands at 7-2 overall and 1-0 in the NWC while the Tigers dropped to 3-5.
