Demolishing old jail could save $775 annually

PAULDING – It appears that the demolition of the old historical jail building may be imminent. According to sources, the county commissioners have contacted a local contractor that has the necessary equipment to take down the old historic building.

At the current time, the work is on hold until plans can be finalized.
