The Paulding boys basketball team opened the final part of its basketball season with double wins in non-league action. On Friday night, the Panthers pulled off a 70-65 overtime win over Liberty Center. Saturday, the local squad improved its overall record to 8-2 with a 61-40 win over Parkway.

Against Liberty Center, the Panthers once led by 11 points, 50-39, in the third quarter, but then allowed the Tigers to work their way back into the game and tie at 59-59 at the end of regulation play.
