Girls basketball -

The Crestview Lady Knights used a big second quarter to pull away from Paulding on their way to a 61-33 conference victory. Paulding was led in scoring by Sierra McCullough and Abby Pease, who both had eight points. The Lady Panthers fall to 4-9 on the season, and 0-5 in the NWC.

 

Boys basketball –

Antwerp 31 Holgate 26. The Holgate Tigers led 26-24 when Antwerp's Derek Smalley took matters into his own hands and scored the final seven points in the final 53 seconds of the game to secure a hard fought defensive battle in the Green Meadows Conference. For veteran head coach Scott McMichael, it was career win number 150.

 

Wayne Trace posted its 10th consecutive win Thursday night as the Raiders pulled away from visiting Ayersville in the second half for a 58-35 win over the Pilots. Ryan Kortokrax bucketed 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Raiders with Dalton Sinn adding 14 points, five assists and four boards.Wayne Trace will host Lima Shawnee in a non-league battle on Saturday.

 

 

Wrestling –

Paulding wrestled Ada and Spencerville on Thursday in a tri-match and came away undefeated. Scores were Paulding 70 Ada 10 and Paulding 60 Spencerville 18.
