County school ACS relays lauded for commitment

Paulding County’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life efforts have been acknowledged on two major levels. As a county, the local relay has received recognition as the number one county in the American Cancer Society’s East Central district. The district lead staff member, Cara Boehm, covers a two-state area including Ohio and Pennsylvania.

“This is really a significant thing when you realize that it covers both Ohio and Pennsylvania,” said Boehm. “When you realize how large the area is and how small Paulding County is, it is really a significant thing.”
