Girls basketball -

Wayne Trace Lady Raiders had 26 turnover in the opening two quarters and completed the night with 40 overall, enabling the host Delphos Jefferson Wildcats to cruise to a 64-43 win in non-league action on Tuesday.

Sylvia Young topped the Raiders with 10 markers with Erin Mohr adding nine points and nine rebounds.

The Raiders return to action on Thursday, hosting Hicksville in a varsity-only contest with a 6 p.m. start in conference action.

 

Continental held Antwerp to eight first half points Tuesday night as the Pirates rolled to a 49-22 non-league win. Jones led the Archers with 11 points.

The Lady Archers travel to Edgerton on Thursday.
