Payne Council pays on storm loan

PAYNE – In its regular meeting Monday, the Payne Village Council agreed to pay $13,000 toward the balance of a loan that was originally put together by the village along with Benton and Harrison townships. The original $50,000 loan was used to pay for the early going expenses as a result of the storm aftermath that hit the area in 2012.
