Former teacher Mark Holtsberry couldn't be happier these days. His dream of getting back to area classrooms and teaching his favorite topic about nature came true recently when he was was installed as the full-time educator for Paulding County Soil and Water.

Holtsberry, who had been working on a part-time basis, said that he is looking forward to educating school children about planting trees and plants as well as understanding the environment and dealing with proper soil management practices.

"We don't have to teach the farm kids, they know this stuff," said Holtsberry. "Kids that live in town need to learn this. I
