Boys basketball -

Lance Foor scored 22 points in leading Paulding to a 63-41 win at Ada on Friday night. After playing to an 8-8 deadlock in the first quarter, the Panthers jumped out to a 25-15 halftime lead en route to their fifth Northwest Conference win. Paulding's record now stands at 15-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play.

 

Antwerp 55 Ayersville 44. The fourth quarter was the difference with the Archers outscoring the Pilots by nine points to win, 55-44. Noah Ganger poured in 26 points on the night to lead the Antwerp attack. The Archers finished GMC play at 4-3.

 

Wayne Trace 56 Edgerton 50. Edgerton visited Paulding County to battle for the league crown Friday night. The contest was back and forth throughout before the Raiders’ Colby Speice came up with the defensive play of the game to give Wayne Trace a 56-50 win and the GMC championship – their first since 2007.
