Boys basketball –
The Wayne Trace Raiders posted a 63-49 victory at Parkway Thursday night. Wayne Trace moved to 19-2 on the season with the win, recording its sixth consecutive victory. Dalton Sinn led the red-white-and-blue with 18 points. Wayne Trace hosts Ottoville in a non-league contest Friday evening.

Girls basketball -
LIMA – Wayne Trace's girls basketball team put forth a valiant effort but came up just short in the Division III girls sectional at Lima Bath as the Lady Raiders fell to Lima Central Catholic 49-46.
The red, white and blue had their best effort of the season despite the loss, with five seniors closing their careers by scoring in their last game.
Wayne Trace led 11-5 after one quarter before the Thunderbirds rallied to take a 23-17 halftime advantage. Lima Central Catholic led 34-32 entering the final period.
Freshman Erin Mohr paced the lady Raiders with 14 points while senior Krystal Wannemacher added ten. Other scorers included senior Karena Egnor (seven), junior Sylvia Young (five), senior Rylee Zartman (four), senior Taylor Grant (two), senior Tanya Sinn (two) and freshman Shayna Temple (two). Senior Natalie Sinn also had her career come to a close in the loss for the Raiders, who finish the year at 6-17.
