VAN WERT – The YMCA of Van Wert County’s Summer Camp schedule is out and all ages 6-12 may register. While your kids enjoy a great summer full of fun and activities you can enjoy the tax benefit of a child care expense. There is a great list of weekly activities planned, including:

WEEK 1:  JUNE 10-14 Float My Boat (water fun)

Field Trip: Area Reservoirs &  Rivers

 

WEEK 2: JUNE 17-21 *WaterWorks (Pool Visits)

Field Trip: Area Pools & Water Parks

 

WEEK 3: JUNE 24-28 Gamer Camp (All about video games)

Field Trip: Game Stop

 

WEEK 4: JULY 8-12 Water Works 2 (Pool Visits)

Field Trip: Area Pools & Water Park

 

WEEK 5: JULY 15-19 Games Galore (games & team building)

 

WEEK 6: JULY 22-26 Active X Sports (Sports & more Sports)

Field Trip: Tin Caps Stadium & Mad Ants Fieldhouse

 

WEEK 7: JULY 29-AUG. 2 Gamer 2 (All about video games)

Field Trip: Game Stop

 

WEEK 8: AUG. 5-9 Turtles to T-Rex: (Animal Camp)

Field Trip: Ft. Wayne Zoo

 

WEEK 9: AUG.12-16 Playground Mania: (Area playgrounds & much, much, more)

 

WEEK 10: AUG. 19–23 SURVIVOR CAMP: (Outdoor Adventures)

Field Trip: climbing wall at Camp Clay. Field Trip: Camp Clay Sleepover

 

Each camp runs Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with pick up and drop off at Camp Clay.  The weekly rates are $70 for Van Wert Y members and $110 for potential (non) Y members. There are a couple price specials; including buy eight camps, get two free and if a camper bring a friend to the water works camp that is a brand new camper that friend can come for the week for free .
