The Salvation Army is once again offering the opportunity to send kids to summer camp. Camp Swoneky is located in Oregonia (near Cincinnati) and is open to children ages 6-12.

Children will enjoy a week full of activities such as swimming, boating, hiking, horseback riding, and much more. The cost of the camp is $20 per child, which covers all the week’s expenses including transportation, bedding, food and snacks.

Children must have a physical exam that has been completed within the past 12 months. The dates of camp will be July 10–July 16. Deadline for application is June 21 and will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Applications are available through Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission. Please contact Becky Michael, 419-399-3650, for further details.
