Going buggy

By Nancy Whitaker

We all love the sun, warm weather, flowers, swimming pools, barbecues, fishing and the sights and smells of summer.

There are picnics, parades, garage sales, amusement parks and flea markets to attend. There are drive-ins, patio parties, and of course, picnics.

Have you ever noticed any uninvited guests that may fly, crawl, or jump into the midst of your summertime fun? I have observed ants, bees, grasshoppers, wasps and mosquitoes all trying to make themselves at home around my picnic or party.

Needless to say, I am scared to death of anything that flies, crawls or jumps. I really don’t care for any of the “bug” family and if I run into one, I hollar and scream like most gals.
