Oakwood hires part-time police officer

OAKWOOD – Oakwood Village Council met Sept. 9 in the village council chambers for a short meeting with five council members present.

Police Chief Mark Figert informed council that Patrolman Derek Beardsley was sworn in on Aug. 31 as a part-time police officer.
