Raiders take big step towards playoff berth

By KEVIN WANNEMACHER • Progress Sportswriter

HAVILAND – Wayne Trace didn’t get off to a good start in Friday’s rivalry game with visiting Crestview as the Knights took game’s opening possession and turned it into an 11-yard touchdown run by Preston Zaleski.

However, the Raiders dominated the remainder of the opening stanza and never looked back as Wayne Trace rolled to a 54-41 victory over the Knights to move to 3-0 on the season.
