PAULDING – Operation Christmas Child celebrates 20 years of bringing love and Jesus to children around the world one shoebox at a time.

The Paulding Relay center is getting started with a Shoebox Kickoff and Packing Party from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. The Paulding relay center is at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene Family Life Center at 210 Dooley Drive. Get your friends and family together and come out to the party.

Organizers will be giving updates and information about the ministry. Bring your own shoebox (or one will be provided for you) and start to fill it up with goodies at the party.

The 2013 collection week is Nov. 18-25.

This outreach ministry of Samaritan’s Purse has sent over 100 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in third world countries since 1993.
