ARLINGTON – A very successful senior season came to a close last Monday afternoon as Paulding’s Jerika Bland saw her high school golf career come to an end with a 90 in the Division II girls golf district at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.

Bland finished in a tie for 13th place in the tournament after struggling early in the round according to head coach Mike Miller.

“She got off to an uncharacteristic slow start and it really hurt her,” noted Miller. “Once she was able to get past that and get her composure back, she played pretty well from that point on. It was just too much to overcome on a tough course.”
