Should the county emergency management agency office duties be a separate office?
Reduction sought for E911 levy

Local voters will consider a replacement levy for the county’s Enhanced 911 (E911) system this November. It will be for just a portion of the current 1.2 mills, at 1.074 mills. This is a reduction of 0.126 mills or 10.5 percent.

Lt. Brion Hanenkratt, E911 coordinator at the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said this change is being sought for practical reasons.
