When it comes to the game of golf, Jerika Bland is a natural with unlimited potential. Being introduced to the game just prior to her freshman year Bland went to the driving range and became a quick learner of the game. With golf in her blood she decided to forego her volleyball season and concentrate on playing golf.

Today, the Paulding High School senior looks back on her four year career as a Lady Panther and realizes how far she has come since her first trip to the driving range – both on and off the golf course. As a rookie golfer Jerika faced the obstacle of not playing on the girl’s team at PHS not because she wasn’t good enough but because there was no girl’s team.
