Paulding Village’s income tax rate increases to 1%

PAULDING – Paulding Village Council adopted an ordinance raising income tax rates when it met in special session on Dec. 30.

Council heard the third and final reading of Ordinance #1468-13 amending Ordinance #1239-00 (income tax ordinance), suspended the rules, declared an emergency and unanimously passed the measure. The new ordinance will increase the village income tax from .5 percent to 1 percent.
