The Wayne Trace National Honor Society is holding its second Glow In the Dark 5K or one mile run/walk at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, April 12.

Registration and check-in will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Payne ball park across from the Payne Elementary building.

Pre-registration is $20; those who preregister by March 21, are guaranteed a T-shirt. Registration the day of the race is $25. For students 18 and under, preregistration is $15 and guarantees a T-shirt, and registration the day of the race is $20.

All of the proceeds this year will benefit cancer treatment for Steve Hall, a 1988 Wayne Trace graduate, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer this past August. Steve currently lives with his wife, Kellie, and two children, Eli and Emma, in Columbus, where he teaches at Grandview Heights and coaches varsity boys’ basketball.

Registration forms are available at the school or online on the school’s website. If you have any questions, email waynetracehs@gmail.com. The Wayne Trace NHS appreciates any and all support of its cause.
