|Payne Council approves new snow blade purchase|

PAYNE – The purchase of a new snow blade, the formation of the records retention committee, and submission of two names as new members of the fire department were presented at the Payne Village Council meeting on Monday evening, Feb. 24.
A motion unanimously passed to purchase a new snow blade due to the harsh winter and large snow amounts. The original cost of the blade was $3,241.50 with a trade in value of the old equipment at $1,446.50. The final cost for the new blade is $1,795.
