The bride-elect graduated from Indiana University Purdue University, Fort Wayne, with a degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a first grade teacher at Antwerp Elementary.

Her fiancé received an accounting degree from Indiana University Purdue University, Fort Wayne. He is employed as an accountant at Brooks Construction in Fort Wayne.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 23, 2013 at Woodburn Missionary Church in Woodburn.

Brant is a 1996 graduate of Antwerp High School and is employed at Midwest Tile, Woodburn.

The couple will exchange vows Oct. 26, 2013 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Defiance.

PAYNE – Tarryn Perez of Fort Wayne and Ray “Jared” Long of Payne have announced their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Paul Perez and Brenda Meters of Fort Wayne. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne where she earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental science. She is employed as a fertilizer technician at A&L Great Lakes Laboratories in Fort Wayne.

Her fiancé is the son of Ray “Kip” and Harla Long of Payne. He is a 2009 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and is employed as a laboratory technician at A&L Great Lakes Laboratories in Fort Wayne.

Plans are being made for a February 2014 wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doug and Rhonda Smalley from Paulding and is a graduate of Paulding High School, The Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University. She is a medical social worker at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

The prospective groom is the son of Terry and Amy Retz from Westerville and is a graduate of Englewood High School and The Ohio State University, and is pursuing his Ph.D. in physics at The Ohio State University.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ray and Harla Long of Payne. She is a 2004 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and a 2008 graduate of Wittenberg University, where she earned a BA in theater and a BA in interdepartmental sciences. She is employed as an assistant electrician for Feld Entertainment International Touring Live Show (Disney Stage Productions).

Her fiancé is the son of Eric and Kim Moore of Narragansett, R.I. He is a 2003 graduate of Tom C. Clark High school and a 2004 graduate of Full Sail University, where he earned an associates of science degree in show production and touring. He is employed as head audio and rigger for Feld International Touring Live Show (Disney Stage Productions).

Plans are being made for a June 25, 2015 wedding.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, Fort Wayne, with an associate’s degree in business administration. She is currently employed at JAT Trucking in Fort Wayne as a dispatcher.

Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of Bethel S.T.A.R. Christian Academy and a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is enrolled in Bowling Green’s masters of business administration program. He is currently employed at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Findlay, as an advanced IT systems integrator.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Payne.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Findlay.

He is a 2006 graduate of Paulding High School and a 2010 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in sports marketing and management. He is employed as assistant manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Lexington Blue Grass Airport branch.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at 5 p.m. Sept. 27, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Paulding.
