PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Ruth Riley will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on May 16.

They are the parents of two daughters, Vicky (Bill) Rager and Cindy (Larry) Grace.

The couple also have five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who will help celebrate 65 years of happiness.

PAULDING — Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Hart will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on May 7.

Daryl W. Hart and Floanne R. Mott were married on May 7, 1988, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Defiance, by Jon Lebsack and Richard Ooten.

Daryl was employed by Hartzog Lumber for 14 years and has installed for Lowe’s since 2001.

Floanne is a barber/stylist at Hart’s Hair Care and Country Inn.

The are the parents of two children, Riley J. and Quinten E. Hart.

They will celebrate the occasion with an open house hosted by their family from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the Paulding County Senior Center.

Jeffrey and Barbara Proxmire, of Defiance, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jerica Proxmire, to Michael Miller, son of Francis Miller of Hicksville and Nancy Miller of Fort Wayne.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Paulding High School. She is pursuing an RN degree at Rhodes State College, Lima. She is employed as an STNA at the Laurels of Defiance.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Hicksville High School. He is pursuing an associate’s degree in both network administration and computer programming at Northwest State Community College, Archbold. He is employed as a web developer and technical support technician at MetaLINK Technologies of Defiance.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

NEW LONDON – Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mobley recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Theresa Bradley and Charles Mobley exchanged wedding vows on April 11, 1953, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cecil.

They are the parents of five children. They also have 11 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

All of their children, spouses and grandchildren were together at Christmas time for an early anniversary celebration at their home in New London.

PAULDING – Kelsey Foltz and Scott Rhodes of defiance, have announced their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike Foltz and Matt and Stacey Butler of Paulding. She is a 2006 graduate of Paulding High School and a 2010 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is employed at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

Her fiancé is the son of Randy and Laura Jones and Lori Rhodes of Paulding. He is a 2000 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and is self-employed.

The couple will exchange vows on May 4, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Paulding.
