PAULDING — Mr. and Mrs. Rosalio Martinez will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on June 17.

Rosalio Martinez and Geneveva Torres were married June 17, 1961 in Napoleon.

They are the parents of two children, Julian and Sandi Martinez, both of Paulding.

They also have three grandchildren, Danielle (Ryan) Morrison of Detroit, Mich. and Nathan Martinez of Paulding, and Joshua Martinez, who is deceased.

The couple will celebrate the occasion from 6-10 p.m. Friday, June 17 with a dinner with family and special friends at the Eagles Lodge in Paulding.


CONTINENTAL – Kevin and Rebecca Vorst of Continental would like to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Nicole Marie, to Nicholas Roland Siewert, son of Stacie Siewert of Haviland.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Ayersville High School and is currently a nursing student at James Rhodes State College. She is currently employed at Defiance Regional Medical Center in Defiance.

Her fiancé is a 2004 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004-08. He is employed at BF Goodrich in Fort Wayne.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Free Christian Church of God.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Woodring

ANTWERP – Mr. and Mrs. Bill Woodring are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Bill Woodring and Nancy Wannemacher were married on Jan. 28, 1961, at the St. John the Baptist Church in Payne by the Rev. Charles Ruess.

They are the parents of five children, Bill (Angie) of Edgerton, Ind., Dan (Lisa) of West Unity, Rick of Fairfield, Chris (Bruce) Ferris of Cecil, and Shelly (Jim) Murlin of Antwerp.

The couple also have 10 grandchildren and four great-stepgrandchildren.

They will celebrate the occasion with an open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at the Divine Mercy Church Hall in Antwerp. They are also planning a trip to the Canadian Rockies in August.


Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Olds

PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Olds will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on April 3.

Jerry Olds and Gingeretta Crone were united in marriage on April 3, 1971, in Oakwood, by the Rev. Paul Miller.

They are the parents of three children, Dodie (Abe) Crossman of Vermont, Paula (Seth) Bowersox of Paulding and Terry (Theresa) Olds also of Paulding.

They have five grandchildren, Jakob and Haddie Crossman, Darrick Bowersox and Nathaniel and Braxton Olds.
