MR. and MRS. MAX KOCHENSPARGER

PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Max Kochensparger of Paulding celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2.

Max Kochensparger and Eileen Foster were married June 2, 1962, at the Middle Creek EUB Church in Grover Hill by the Rev. Mark Burden.

Max is retired from Dana Weatherhead in Antwerp and Paulding Exempted Village Schools as a bus driver.

Eileen also retired from Paulding Exempted Village Schools as a bus driver.

They are the parents of three children, Kathy (Jay) Denny and Kelly and Paula Kochensparger.

The couple also have five grandchildren, Jayme and Aryn Denny and Kaleb, Kanaan and Korbin Kochensparger.

The couple will celebrate the occasion with an open house hosted by their children, from 2-4 p.m. June 24 at the Middle Creek United Methodist Church on CR 24, Grover Hill.

PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Cook will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 1.

Robert L. Cook and Janette M. Haase were married July 1, 1962, at the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Hamler, by the Rev. Paul D. Koeler.

Bob retired from dairy and general farming and Jan is retired from National Soil and Water, Van Wert, production line.

The couple have two sons, Charles H. (Kim) Cook of Paulding and Eric R. (Dawn) Cook of Payne.

They also have seven grandchildren.

They will celebrate the occasion from 4-7 p.m. June 30, with an open house at the Paulding United Methodist Church, hosted by their children.

The couple requests that gifts be omitted, saying just the pleasure of seeing everyone is the only gift required.

 
MR. and MRS. PHILIP HULL

CECIL – Mr. and Mrs. Philip Hull of Cecil will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.

Vicky Mapes and Philip Hull were married June 24, 1972 in the Paulding Nazarene Church by the Rev. Roger Culbertson.

Phil is the plant manager for the Herbert E. Orr Company, and Vicky is the head of adult services and circulation at the Paulding County Carnegie Library. Phil and Vicky are also partners of Innovative Assembly Services LLC.

They are the parents of three sons, Shawn (Nicole) Hull, Matt (Stephanie) Hull and Jeff Hull, and two daughters, Christina (Jason) Padrutt and Annie Hull. They have seven grandchildren, Paige Hull, Madison and Matthew Hull Jr., Zachary Hull, Sebastian and Danielle Padrutt and Alana Villarreal.

The couple will be celebrating with a weekend getaway this summer and a day at the lake with their kids and grandkids.

Amy and Junior Dorman of Cecil proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Breanna Wilder, to Benjamin Kauser, son of Mike and Cindy Kauser, Paulding.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Paulding High School and is employed at First Federal Bank in Defiance.

Her fiancé is a 2008 graduate of Paulding High School and is employed at John Kauser Trucking, Paulding.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on July 14, 2012 at the St. Paul Country Church, Paulding.

 
KIMBERLY BAUMERT and STEPHAN ALFORD

ANTWERP – Kimberly Baumert and Stephen Alford, both of Antwerp, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Carl and Linda Baumert of Antwerp. She is a 2002 graduate of Antwerp High School and a 2011 graduate of Devry University, where she earned an associates degree in health information technology. She is employed at the Golden Years Nursing Home.

Her fiancé is the son of Rick and Pam Alford of Antwerp and Joan Alford of Scotts, Mich. He is a 2003 graduate of Hicksville High School and is employed at Butler Mill Service.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Antwerp United Methodist Church.
