RALEIGH, N.C. — Sara Branch and Richard Larison exchanged wedding vows on Sept. 28, at Hidden River, Swannanoa, N.C. with Dr. Jeanne Matthews Sommer officiating.

Parents of the couple are Troy and Anita Branch of Paulding and Theresa Crites of Columbus.

The bride arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage and was given in marriage by her father.

VAN WERT – Orval and Luella (Conley) Mullen are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends in their home at 10912 U.S. 127, Van Wert, Ohio 45891 on Oct. 28.

They were married Oct. 24, 1942 at the Presbyterian Church in Ottawa by Rev. Gibson Wilson. To this union was born three children, Dr. Orval L. Mullen deceased, James H. Mullen, and Judith (Mullen) Wieging. There are four grandsons, Corry Singer, Troy Singer, Chad Mullen, and Shawn Mullen. They are also loved by their 10 great- grandchildren and their four step great-grandchildren.

Over the years they have loved spending their time together camping and fishing all over including Canada and Michigan, as well as living in Florida. But the one thing they love the most is spending time with the family and friends.

PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Gonzales Jr. are observing their 25th wedding anniversary today.

Tony and the former Christina Merritte were married Oct. 24, 1987 by the Rev. Randall Merritte at the Rose Hill Church of God.

They have a son, Antonio Gonzales III. They are expecting their first grandchild.

To celebrate their special milestone, the Gonzales’ will travel to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tenn. and Savannah, Ga.

PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Den Adams recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Den Adams and Judith Commers were married Aug. 31, 1962 at the First Christian Church in Paulding.

The couple has three children, Dennis (Lana) Adams, John (Amy) Adams and Tracy (Paul) Roddy. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

PAULDING  — Natalie Geis and David Griffiths of Paulding have announced their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Tim and Joy Geis of Montclova. She is a 2007 graduate of Anthony Wayne High school and a 2011 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is employed at Verizon Wireless.

Her fiancé is the son of Greg and Beth Griffiths of Paulding. He is a 2006 graduate of Paulding High School and is the owner of Dave’s Lawn Enforcement.
