RAYNA LONG and ANDREW MOORE

PAYNE – Rayna Breanne Long of Payne and Andrew Shepard Moore of San Antonio, Texas, have announced their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ray and Harla Long of Payne. She is a 2004 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and a 2008 graduate of Wittenberg University, where she earned a BA in theater and a BA in interdepartmental sciences. She is employed as an assistant electrician for Feld Entertainment International Touring Live Show (Disney Stage Productions).

Her fiancé is the son of Eric and Kim Moore of Narragansett, R.I. He is a 2003 graduate of Tom C. Clark High school and a 2004 graduate of Full Sail University, where he earned an associates of science degree in show production and touring. He is employed as head audio and rigger for Feld International Touring Live Show (Disney Stage Productions).

Plans are being made for a June 25, 2015 wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hunter were blessed by the Lord to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 25, 2013.

Clyde Hunter and Thelma Crisp were married on Aug. 25, 1973 at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church at Junction by Pastor Terry Brock.

The couple have two children, Amy (John) McMaster of Paulding and Keith (Sheila) Hunter of Defiance.  They have five grandchildren, Emma, Julia, Katelyn, Titus and Kylee.

They were so grateful to have the opportunity to celebrate 40 precious years of God’s blessings with their close family.

PAULDING — Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kepler will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 5.

Richard Kepler and Sharon Kadesh exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 5, 1963, at the First Christian Church in Paulding, with Rev. Hal Zug officiating.

They are the parents of  a daughter, Sharolee (Jeffrey) Huet of Merritt Island, Fla. and a son, Brian (Sandra) Kepler of Deerborn, Mich.

The couple also has two grandchildren, Nathan and Shelby Huet, also of Merritt Island, Fla.

A Hawaiian themed party was held at the couple’s home this summer.

The Kepler’s are celebrating this special occasion with a 15 day tour of the 50th state, the Hawaiian Islands.

PAYNE – Mr. and Mrs. John Tinlin of Payne, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

John H. and Susan Tinlin were married Sept. 29, 1963, at the United Methodist Church in Haviland by the Rev. Grayson Atha.

They are the parents of three children, Lisa (Ron) Mandel of Le Mesa, Calif., Mark of Payne and Amy (Steve) Coyne of Defiance.

The couple also have three grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.

To celebrate the event, the couple just returned from a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Niagara Falls.

PAYNE – Donald and Marlene Kipfer, of Payne, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Lee, to Timothy Everett Heck, the son of Daniel and Debra Heck, of Payne.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Wayne Trace High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, Fort Wayne, with an associate’s degree in business administration. She is currently employed at JAT Trucking in Fort Wayne as a dispatcher.

Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of Bethel S.T.A.R. Christian Academy and a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is enrolled in Bowling Green’s masters of business administration program. He is currently employed at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Findlay, as an advanced IT systems integrator.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Payne.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Findlay.
