BREANNA WILDER and BENJAMIN KAUSER

Amy and Junior Dorman of Cecil proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Breanna Wilder, to Benjamin Kauser, son of Mike and Cindy Kauser, Paulding.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Paulding High School and is employed at First Federal Bank in Defiance.

Her fiancé is a 2008 graduate of Paulding High School and is employed at John Kauser Trucking, Paulding.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on July 14, 2012 at the St. Paul Country Church, Paulding.

 
KIMBERLY BAUMERT and STEPHAN ALFORD

ANTWERP – Kimberly Baumert and Stephen Alford, both of Antwerp, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Carl and Linda Baumert of Antwerp. She is a 2002 graduate of Antwerp High School and a 2011 graduate of Devry University, where she earned an associates degree in health information technology. She is employed at the Golden Years Nursing Home.

Her fiancé is the son of Rick and Pam Alford of Antwerp and Joan Alford of Scotts, Mich. He is a 2003 graduate of Hicksville High School and is employed at Butler Mill Service.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Antwerp United Methodist Church.

 
MR. and MRS. MYRON ZIMMERMAN

ANTWERP — The 15th wedding anniversary of Myron Richard Zimmerman and Caroline Mae Wells Longardner is being celebrated.

They were married June 7, 1997, at the Antwerp Methodist Church by the Rev. Gray.

They were both graduates of the Class of Antwerp 1961. Richard’s parents were Myron Trustin Zimmerman and LaVon Rumble (Van Wert) of Antwerp. Caroline’s parents were Albert Francis Wells and Kathryn Irene Soule (LaPeer Co., Mich.) of Hicksville.

By previous marriages, their children are: Gary Zimmerman, Fort Wayne; James Trustin Zimmerman, Fort Wayne; Melanie Longardner Coak Oberlin, Antwerp; John Nicholas Longardner, Antwerp; and Julius Kirk Longardner of Fort Wayne. Myron and Caroline have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

They plan to have a family dinner to celebrate the occasion and take a trip in the fall.

Their interests include the adoption of retired greyhound racedogs, caring for yard and flowers and reading plus keeping up on the family history. Caroline writes for local newspapers and Myron enjoys woodcarving.

 
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hill

PAULDING – Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hill will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Paul Hill and Margie Funkhouser were married on June 8, 1952 in the Paulding United Methodist Church by the Rev. Richard Black.

Together, the couple have five children, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Hills will be celebrating the special occasion with an open house, hosted by their daughters, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 3 at their home at 10817 Road 114, Paulding. Please stop in and say hello The couple requests no gifts, please.

 
MR. and MRS. ROGER GEBHART

PAYNE — Mr. and Mrs. Roger Gebhart will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27.

The couple was united in marriage on May 27, 1962, at the St. James Lutheran Church in Payne.

The couple will celebrate the occasion from noon-4 p.m., May 19, with a party hosted by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the St. James Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Payne. All family and friends who know the couple are invited to celebrate with them.

Instead of gifts, it is requested that guests bring canned goods which will be donated to the local food bank.
