GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Woodard of Grand Rapids, Mich. will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on April 6.

Ivan Woodard and Lois Baumert exchanged wedding vows on April 6, 1947, at the St. James Lutheran Church in Payne, with Pastor Arthur Knupke officiating.

The couple are the parents of two sons, Bennet (Janet) of Indianapolis and Phillip (Carol) of Fairbanks, Alaska, and a daughter, Myra Neuman of Grand Rapids.

They also have 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the occasion on June 9 and 10 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

ANTWERP – Andy and Sylvia Kraft of Bucyrus and Kevin and Joni Taylor of Antwerp are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of Veronica Lyn Kraft to Aaron Ray Taylor.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Wynford High School and 2009 graduate of Bluffton University with a bachelor of arts in business administration, marketing, and graphic design. She is employed at Imasen-Bucyrus Technology (IB-Tech), Bucyrus, as purchasing coordinator.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Antwerp High School and is also a 2009 graduate of Bluffton University with a bachelor of arts in business administration and sports management. He is employed at Sherwin Williams, Bucyrus, as marketing manager. He also coaches Wynford freshmen boys basketball.

The engaged couple will be married at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Parish, Upper Sandusky, Ohio on April 28, 2012.

Veronica is the granddaughter of Lorin and Marilyn Kraft of Willard and the late Jose and Emperatriz Aguon of San Diego. Aaron is the grandson of Virgil and the late Beverly Taylor and Richard and the late Naomi Smith, Antwerp.

ANTWERP — Mr. and Mrs. Paul Adams of Antwerp will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 3.

Marilyn Reinhart and Paul Adams were married March 3, 1962 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Antwerp by the Rev. J.I. Shill.

The couple are the parents of five children, Beth (Ed) Mendez, Annette (David) Parisot, Donna (Jerry) Geyer, Janean (Greg) Steinecker and Matt Adams.

They are also blessed with nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with a Mass followed by a family dinner hosted by their children.

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — Mr. and Mrs. Gene Tillis will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 29.

Ruth Hineman of Crown City, Ohio and Gene Tillis of Proctorville, Ohio, exchanged wedding vows on Feb. 29, 1952, at Crown City.

Gene is a retired school administrator and is a former superintendent of Paulding County Schools.

Ruth is a retired beautician.

They are the parents of four children, Nancy (Greg) Armstrong of Edgewood, Ky., Patrice (Chuck) Miller of Franklin, Tenn., Dwight Tillis of Pataskla and Chris Tillis of Englewood, Fla.

The couple also have four grandchildren, David and Jill Armstrong, Catherine Tillis and Grant Tillis.

They reside in Englewood, Fla.

Verginia Manz would like announce the engagement of her daughter, Jessica Manz, to Aric Mericle, son of Mike and Deb Mericle, all from Paulding.

The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Paulding High School and is currently attending Ohio State University’s Lima branch.

The prospective groom graduated from Paulding High School in 2009 and will be graduating from the University of Northwestern Ohio in June.

The wedding will take place Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Payne Church of the Nazarene.
