At the October meeting of the Antwerp Village Council, representatives from the company set to create a marijuana dispensary in the historic Antwerp Depot tried to assuage fears. One councilman made a passionate plea to stop the sale, and council debated the need for the income the dispensary would bring.
On August 3, 2024, we held our Annual Cancer Golf Outing at Pike Run Golf Course. Due to the efforts and kindness of many individuals and businesses, we were able to donate $30,000 to the Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program.

This year, The Paulding County Senior Center is asking for a renewal of the levy that helps fund their efforts. The Senior Center has become a fixture in many lives.
Another levy up for renewal this year is for the Paulding County Board of Developmental Disabilities (PCBDD). Currently the millage rate for the PCBDD is 1 mill, but the renewal would reduce it to .75 mill, saving taxpayers money.
